Youth Group Events
Family Fun Events
Once a month, following the late service, the congregation comes together
for Family Fun Events. People of all ages are invited to these events.
Past events include: bowling, caroling, a hayride, camping, ZDT's, roller
skating, and swimming. Check the monthly newsletter and bulletin for dates.
Confirmation
Youth in 7th and 8th grade meet every Tuesday from 7:00-8:30 to study the
Lutheran faith. Topics include the Lord's Prayer, Apostles' Creed, The Ten
Commandments, The Sacraments, and the Old and New Testament. Each summer youth
travel to camp for the week to discuss topics in depth and grow as a community
of believers.
Sunday School
Sunday School opportunities exist for people of all ages. Youth in
Pre-K to 6th grade participate in Sunday school lessons that follow the
church seasons. 7th-12th grade students discuss their faith and how they
can apply it in their everyday lives.
Exciting Events Coming Up
ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans! 4 youth and one adult
from our congregation will spend the week with 36,000 other Lutheran youth
as they learn more about God, each other, and help to rebuild New Orleans.
Confirmation Camp to Sky Ranch
This year, the Confirmands will travel to Sky Ranch Lutheran Camp
near Ft. Collins, Colorado. They will spend the week in Bible Study,
Worship, and hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park.
